FUNDRAISING
There are many ways to fundraise with BOO BOO KITS.
- There is no minimum number of kits to order
- We print the name of your group on the packaging at no extra cost
- You always have 45 days to pay!
Here is a list of some of our suggestions:
OPTION 1: Ideal for schools who want to pre-sell the kits.
- Order 1 BOO BOO KIT for each child
- Send the kit home with the child along with an order form and letter
- Child takes orders from family and friends and collects money
- Place order for final number of kits
OPTION 2: If you are a SPORTS GROUP or CLUB who generally only see the parents of your participants on REGISTRATION NIGHT, you may want to choose this option.
- During the registration process, explain fund-raising is standard practice for any group.
- Give each registrant a unit of 15 BOO BOO KITS and ask them for the $45 up front.
- The participant is then free to sell the BOO BOO KITS to family and friends and to keep the money he/she makes.
OPTION 3: Sell BOO BOO KITS along with another fundraising event.
If you are running a barb-b-que, school fair, bake sale or other type of fundraising event, order some BOO BOO KTS to sell at the same time.
OPTION 4: If you are running a small group, hoping to sell as many kits as possible to to a limited number of people, you may choose to add a bonus incentive for the purchase of 3 or more kits.
- Ask local businesses to donate a prize or cash to your group.
- Hand out 15 BOO BOO KITS plus 5 DRAW tickets to each participant
- The participant asks family and friends to purchase the kits.
- If a person buys 3 kits for $9, they recieve a free ticket for the draw.
For school groups, may we suggests a few alternative options. These options should involve EVERYONE in the school or community. Create enthusiasm and friendly competition amongst the participants. Use the event as an educational tool as much as possible and generate some publicity and support within your community.
The best way to increase sales is to give the sales people some incentives! There are several ways to offer these incentives. Pick one or more of the following options:
OPTION 5: Offer a prize to the TOP SELLING CLASS. A pizza party OR a movie and popcorn make cheap class prizes.
OPTION 6: Offer a pencil, pen, eraser or other token prize for each unit of 15 kits sold. These items can be purchased from a dollar store or a discount store for very little expense.
OPTION 7: Offer a prize to the TOP SELLING PARTICIPANT. Cash makes a great incentive to most people.
OPTION 8: Turn fund-raising with BOO BOO KITS into a FUN-FILLED event for the whole school with LOTS OF PRIZES.
- Approach local businesses or supportive parents to donate the prizes. Examples of prizes could be electronic equipment, gift certificates, games, sports equipment etc. Smaller prize donations can be placed together in gift baskets to make larger prizes.
- Hold an assembly and show off the prizes to the participants. Tell them a draw will be held for each prize. Every participant who sells even a single unit of 15 kits will have a chance to win a prize.
- For each unit of 15 BOO BOO KITS a participant sells, they receive a draw ticket.
- Run the fundraising event for a 2 week period.
- At the end of the 2 week period hold another assembly. Allow each participant to drop their tickets into the draw of their choice.
- Hold the draws and award the prizes.
Please note: We at BOO BOO KITS only supply the kits and the suggestions. PRIZES and OTHER SUPPLIES will need to be provided by your group or community. If you order 500 kits or more, we will provide extra kits with your order to offset the cost of prizes. Special pricing is available on bulk orders of 3000 or more.
